NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: In a room with a minimalist scene of white walls and benches, pink overcast lighting, and mysterious forest noises playing in the background: this is Duckie Brown. Men’s S/S 2016 runway show.
Pushing menswear forward with pale lavenders loosely draped pants — and of course, translucent shirts. Brown’s collection was tasteful and fresh. Rather than staying with traditional silhouettes and color, new ideas were explored successfully. Inspiration from the east was apparent with the fit of the garments, especially the ties of the pants along with the non-fitted, boxy shirts. Overall, a new and distinct exciting menswear collection by Duckie Brown.
